There are plenty of things in Melbourne I would be much more concerned about killing me than flu.
Yes, you can still travel, docters don’t want people to cancel their trips because of Swine Flu.
swine flu is just a whole load of hoo ha. you most likely wont get it, and if you do it wont be that bad.
If i were you i wouldn’t, i live in Melbourne and the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. It’s really just like any other flu. People only died in mexico because of the poor conditions and not getting treatment. Theres only people in intensive care because they are very elderly of have existing conditions. I havent taken any extra precautions, except for maybe washing my hands a bit more. And im fine. I only know one person who had it and shes fine now…
I live in Melbourne and think that you have no problems what so ever, its a beat up. Sure there is flu, but who’s to say you won’t have a heart attack if you stay home.
Life is a gamble, but I wish I had the odds in my favour like this, I bet you do not get it.
In my oppinion it is very safe to travel to Melbourne. I think swine flu is very over rated. The majority of the cases found within victoria have also been to the west of the bay. I wouldn’t cancel your trip to melbourne, it has alot more to offer.
