Check out the Gumtree (www.gumtree.com). There are Gumtree sites for various cities in the UK and the rest of the world. They are great sites for meeting like-minded travellers (both antipodean and non-antipodean).

    Enjoy your travels!

Do the Contiki tour thing. Lots of singles on those.

Greetings Patrick from footprintsdownunder here – dude your going about this all wrong – firstly go get a bebo account and meet some backpackers maybe you will find a travel partner that way-

Right now you do not sound so coooool – Backpacking is a personal thing that you have to initiate out of a feeling and desire to travel and learn more about the world –

You have to get that first dude – at the moment you sound like a answer sleeeeze and you don’t want that do you?

Go to footprintsdownunder introduce your self in the rave or guest-book section and meet some backpackers – a much better way.
