I’m going to Queensland on 21 Feb, picking up a camper in Cairns and travelling down the east coat to Brisbane, stopping off at Fraser Island and the Whitsundays. I’ve been checking the weather recently and the forcasts seem to be horrendous with many floods and constant rain. I’m really worried now that this weather isn’t going to ease before our trip and our travel plans will be ruined.
Can anyone offer any light and sunshine at my rainy tunnel??

1 month
that depends to weather conditions
If you are in a rainy tunnel and see light, the sprinkler system must be malfunctioning.
What, is it wet in Melbourne too?
Look on the bright side. If your flat floats past you, the chances of a bushfire are NIL.
Some friends just came back from a fortnight in Qld with two kids under five.
It rained every day, but it was still warm and they did get some swimming in.
And there are lots of attractions to see and visit.
Don’t want to predict no rain (especially not during a drought, lol) BUT hope you have a great holiday anyway!
Cheers
You’ll never know if you never go. It is the wet season and you have time up your sleeve. Lets hope we are getting it all out the way now but the forcast is for more rain over the next month. It will be lovely and green though so look on the good side. It will still be an adventure and we do have breaks in the rain it’s just when it rains it comes in bucket fulls all at once. I think you will be ok and have a great trip.
