As a teen myself, for a long trip I would bring heaps of magazines or books. Take a neck pillow or a normal pillow. Take an MP3 (like an Ipod) and an electronic portable game (like a Nintendo DS or a PS3). A few creative projects will entertain you for hours like suduko puzzles or you can make bracelets/necklaces from thread. You can always do a thread braid on your sister’s hair. You can play a magnetic board game or some card games with your siblings. If worse comes to worse…you can always do homework.

Try to get a window seat and not be stuck in the middle, try to put all your stuff in a small backpack so you will have more space and then more comfort. Have plenty of water and lemonade/lemon squash or suck or a lemon flavored sugar lolli (lemon helps with car sickness). Put your hair into a relaxed pony and roll down the windows in good weather. Kick off your shoes and you are ready to go! hope this helps you.
